When I was a kid, I loved to go on ski holidays, but as I got older I slowly got interested in other things, forgetting the lovely times I had had on the slopes, and I eventually forgot about those trips altogether. That is until last year, I met a lovely woman, Rhoda, at work, and she and I hit it off immediately. After a few months of dating, we began to talk about going on vacation together, and she mentioned that she loved to ski. That tiny little comment brought back my youthful love of the sport in an avalanche of memories, and I agreed immediately. Every year when the Monaco Grand Prix came on the tv, my husband would ask if we could go and every time he asked, I would make an excuse and tell him that maybe we could go next year.
